What I'd like to say that, if you really want to go short, don't hold back. Worst case, you will have to grow it long but don't we all feel bad about the things we have done in life rather than the things we ended up doing but didn't work out? I feel all of us need to live our heart out. Anyway, if you suppress wishes or desires, they only come out in a bad way. Life would be so boring if we went by all the rules instead of doing what we feel like.

Many women are afraid to cut their hair short because they are conditioned to believe women look good with long hair. Trust me, it is not that we don't look good with short hair but rather that we are all expected to be an 'ideal' woman as much as possible. But what is ideal for society should never be taken into account because we are all different and there is no universal look which would suit all of us.

Most importantly, I never felt like myself with long hair and short hair shows my face a lot more. I love how I'm not hiding behind hair. Short hair speaks of a confident woman and that is too tough to handle for society. Ideally, women should either be submissive or have sexy flowing hair. Both are pleasing to men. A woman with short hair sends out the message that she does not care as much about what men think of her and that is naturally a problem for this world.

Even if I'm often suggested to grow hair long, most people agree my hairstyle looks good on me and the way people look at me since I've gone short, it definitely says I look way better now. It is only people's idea of a woman that makes them suggest so, to the point that some hate short hair on a woman but if they do, they are certainly not my type and neither am I theirs so if a guy tells you to grow hair long, tell him to find a woman with long hair rather than trying to change you, because if you feel like yourself with short hair and he hates it then chances are, he is going to have a problem with your personality too.

Go short, don't be afraid!

If you are a woman and afraid short hair would not look good on you, then fear not because there is a short hairstyle for every woman...

When people want to look better, their focus generally goes to their clothing. Isn't it so? When you are feeling good and would like to look good as well, wouldn't you pick the best item from your wardrobe? And if you are looking to update your whole look, wouldn't you go shopping for clothes?

I agree clothes matter a great deal. They represent who you are, they catch the most attention and wearing our favorite clothes makes us feel better. But, I feel accessories matter more than they are thought to. I feel what clothes do the most is represent who we are, whether a tomboy or a free spirit or a living doll, but accessories play an equal role in making us look good. They can get you the right kind of attention if worn appropriately.

What more accessories can do is make up the look. If you are familiar with 'Get the look', they guide you from the beginning to the end of dressing up, starting with a dress and finishing with an accessory. If they say, finish the look by adding a black clutch or earrings or so, they aren't kidding. You can't Get the look by wearing the recommended dress but skipping the accessories. The accessories are what complete the look.

In addition, you can make your everyday clothes look stylish with accessories that go with them. Often people find that clothes don't look as good on them as they did on a model or a dummy. It mostly happens because of the lack of accessories as they make clothes look interesting. Clothes, however good, can be boring if there is no make-up or accessory or an interesting hair style or color. Even if you saw someone wearing a pretty dress alone on the beach or a cruise and it looked good, I doubt if it would suffice in everyday life, I think because in those scenarios the environment matches the accessory free and the natural make-up look. In the modern world, your look would be too boring without accessories. I feel they do more than make-up in making your look interesting as make-up can too easily look too much unless you are attending a party.

That being said, it's also not advisable to put on big earrings and a chunky necklace or ring at the same time. What you should be aiming at is driving attention to your best features, like I keep accessories minimal but used to love wearing beautiful bracelets and have now switched to a big flower punk ring as I like my hands. Another thing to be kept in mind is that you can wear a fancy bracelet and a matching necklace at the same time but the earrings should be small in this case as you don't want to stuff your face with too many accessories. The problem with wearing too many accessories or too many large ones at the same time is that it confuses the viewer as to where to look and you look overdone. It's best to have one pretty accessory at a time and keep others minimal.

Most of us have heard about essential oils but not everyone realizes their power. There aren't many things in the world which improve health as easily as essential oils do. Today, I'm going to give you a brief account of my experience with peppermint oil and tea tree oil.

One important thing to be said about essential oils is that you would reach a much better result if you follow the instructions. I have used undiluted tea tree oil a few times and even though it didn't harm my skin, it made me feel like my head is burning when I used on scalp. It worked a lot better when I used it mixed in olive oil. Both these oils are known to cure dandruff and scalp itchiness, so it's a good idea to use them together for a scalp massage. It's not only that tea tree oil didn't burn when used diluted, it also treated the scalp problems so much more. The massage also improved overall health and seemed like it removed a lot of infection from the body. Tea tree oil is famous for being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.

Peppermint oil is cheaper than most essential oils, but that's no reason to think it's any less beneficial. In fact, few essential oils are edible and peppermint oil is one of them. I don't even take a drop, I just press the opened bottle on my palm and lick. It tastes minty, like menthol toffees. It instantly wakes me up and energizes me, making me feel more alive. It also instantly improves digestion. You would feel it's effect the following day as well. Peppermint oil can be added to dishes as well, as a garnishing ingredient or to herbal teas. It also seems to remove infection from the body like tea tree, though obviously if you ingest it, it would get rid of the infections in the stomach more than other parts. Don't be alarmed if it makes you go to the toilet a bit more than usual though. Natural things have this way of purifying our body. Another day, I added 5 drops of peppermint oil to 2 tablespoons of olive oil and massaged the concoction on some parts of the body. It improved overall health and solved the problem of peeing a bit more often than usual. One massage, that's all it took.

To be noted: I generally keep oils on for a long time, sometimes for even longer than 24 hours. While I've found that keeping oils for long on the body helps, keeping them for too long on the head can actually make the head itch!
