I think our clothes tell others what type of person we are, more than anything else. So, if you are wearing a flowy skirt, you are going to look feminine, no matter what else you do. You could tell the world you aren't all girly by teaming the skirt with sporty shoes; but you would still only look like a girl who can run rather than a breadwinner or a boxer.

Another thing that our clothes define is our class. You can easily notice being treated better if you wear high quality clothes that suit you.
