Could we agree on one aspect of beauty which is undoubtedly the most important? Some say it's the clothes, others that it's the skin, make-up etc.

In my opinion, it is the hair. Whether we are talking about the hairstyle or hair removal, it is the hair that can totally transform your look, more than anything else. No one would question whether you look beautiful or not, if your hair does and if you at least don't have much hair on your face. As it is, your face needs to look beautiful more than your body and it is the hair which complements your face.

A hairstyle can define how you look on its own and hair removal, though often ignored, matters more than skin and make-up. Changing your hairstyle changes your look the most. Whether you want to look more confident, feminine or fun, nothing can do it like your hairstyle can.

And in the same way, hair removal can transform your look more than most people assume. Especially facial hair removal. Eyebrows are a big part of this. Thick eyebrows can give your personality more depth and make you look more interesting. Thin eyebrows can make you look more beautiful but go too thin and you end up looking unnatural. Go too thick and you'll look wild or ungroomed. The idea should not only be to make them appear normal and natural, but also to suit your specific face shape. Other than that, you can easily look much more beautiful by removing or bleaching the rest of your facial hair.

Most of us give a lot thought to choosing the right type of clothing, but even if we wear good clothes that suit us, little errors can spoil our look. One of the common little errors is wearing the wrong bra.

What is a wrong bra? It could be an ill-fitting one, it could be of the wrong color or shape. Let me give you a small useful guide on choosing one.

Based on color:

How much could the color of your bra affect your look? A lot I say. A bra can spoil your whole look if it shows through and the color of your bra could have a lot to do with it.

White bras are the best for white tops and dresses, black bras being the best for black tops and dresses. Why? White could shine under black and vice-versa, especially under bright lights, including sunlight or a camera flash.

For neutral colored clothing, go for light colored bras for light colored clothes and dark colored bras for dark colored clothes.

Based on neck:

Your choice of bra could also depend on the neck of your clothing. Tops and dresses with wide necks require a bra with wide straps so you don't have to adjust it all the time. In the same way, it's better to wear a bra with normal-width straps with clothing which do not have a wide neck, as they are more comfortable.

If your clothing has a deep neck, a demi bra gives better fit and makes you feel sexier as a bonus. However, the outlines of a demi bra could show in a tight t-shirt or a high neck top. In that case, you'll need a full coverage bra.

Based on thickness:

To avoid the outline of the cups from showing, you also need to match the thickness of your top to the thickness of your bra. A padded bra is better suited to a fabric of high thickness, while it could show through a thin garment. So if you are wearing a thin t-shirt, it's better to wear a non-padded one.

Before I start, I'd like to inform you that I'm not providing a solution for dry skin, a homemade pack, an oil or anything like that which promises to heal dry skin in a jiffy. I'm only here to provide information about something that dries skin out.

Most often, we change our moisturizers when our skin dries out. Even soaps and shower gels. But do we notice it's actually something else?

Water. Water is the real culprit.

What's the solution then? It's not like we can stop using water, is it? What we can do, is use it less. Use it less. Stay wet for a shorter duration.

Like when I was taking a bath day before yesterday in the evening, I washed my legs with soap and then wiped them with a towel, before wetting the upper half body and cleaning it. No, not quite to reduce skin dryness, but only because winter is here. But it can also be done to avoid after-bath-dryness.

That's not all. We all know washing with warm water dries skin out more than cold water does. It makes more of a difference than most of us realize. You really don't need a moisturizing soap/body wash if you can use cold water for bathing. What am I suggesting then? To bathe with cold water in chilly winters?

Well, it really isn't that hard to use cold water for washing, until it gets really cold. It's easier than we think. Mostly, you'd only feel cold during the bath. But of course you can only do that during the day.

Question: Is it easier for your fellow family/locality members to wash hands and body with cold water than you?
If yes, it is an indication of your health being worse than them and in such a case, boy you need to do something about it.

It's easy for any of us to tell what looks good and what doesn't. May be not always. But I don't want to give you a guide to what looks good, lace or chiffon or harem pants. Or wedges or flats.

I feel it's easy to tell what's looking good, a neon hairband or blue beads, but how to figure if it's for you?

Today, we are going to talk about footwear. The options are many, as with everything today, from tea to tongue cleaner. Three things you need to consider when deciding what to wear: style, comfort and occasion.

Women's wardrobes are generally loaded with fancy slippers, but do you buy keeping occasions in mind?

Most people go to the market and buy things they don't need. While it causes no harm if you want to keep shoes for show and acknowledge it but if you buy what you want and have nothing appropriate to wear when going out, you need to change your shopping habits.

Make a list of places you go to, gym, walking, bicycling, office, party, office party, bathroom, bedroom, houses, whatever applicable.

I'm not happy with waxing ladies. I find it painful in salon and at home but I don't like the substance used and that the hair need to be 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch.

Using Veet gave my legs coarse hair so I wasn't able to remove hair shorter than 1/2 inch. Even if I manage with it for now, it can't work for me on a long-term basis. I wouldn't like to let the hair grow for it to be waxed. I'm now considering shaving and laser hair removal.

I'd also like to tell you that Veet only gives smooth skin if you have fine hair and it makes hair grow back thick, so there is no way you can keep using it. I have fair cool skin tone and coarse hair growth. The benefit of being half-Indian and half-English is that you can look really beautiful with thick trimmed eyebrows but hair removal can be hard if the hair gets too coarse, like it has on my legs.

You might have heard that if your hair is longer than 1/2 an inch then you need to shave it and come back for waxing after a couple weeks but I'd recommend cutting it with scissors. It's what I do when I haven't done hair removal and I'm in a hurry, cut hair from the roots. Share in your experiences below. Hair removal is a journey in itself.
